On my blog I have been pretty open about my journey to publishing my book. So I thought I would update you all on how it's going and share more about my writing routine. Agent rejection Out of the four agent queries I have sent, I have unfortunately received one rejection. I started my journey … Continue reading Agent Rejection + Writing Routine

My Current WIP
For the past month I have been writing my current WIP. I started it in February, left it for a few months, and now I'm working on it again! It's at about 35,000 words. It's been so much easier to write than my last WIP, which is finished and I'm trying to get published (though … Continue reading My Current WIP
Beta Readers & Querying
Hello again everyone! Since my last post, I have practically finished editing and polishing my manuscript. I had been editing since December last year, so I think I've spent enough time on it. I know I'm ready to move on! Anyway, I forgot to post this a month ago when I was looking for beta … Continue reading Beta Readers & Querying
Editing My Manuscript
Hello again everyone. I just realised I have not posted anything at all this year. So far 2021 has been better than 2020, and nothing much interesting has happened in my life since I last posted. I have been spending a lot of time editing my manuscript this year. For the past month I have … Continue reading Editing My Manuscript
NaNoWriMo 2020 Progress
My daily average over 17 days has been 1122 words, which I am really happy with. The total is currently 19,083 words. I've already written more words that I wrote in October (16,738). I should be set to pass my 2017 NaNo record!

Life Update A few months ago I graduated from university and have been applying for jobs in the last couple weeks. I knew it … Continue reading Life and Writing Updates
Writing Diary #2: NaNoWriNo
First of all I'll start by saying that I'm not sure if anyone has used that title before, but I thought of it and it made me laugh. If you don't know, NaNoWriMo is currently underway, and the goal for writers is to conjure up 50,000 words in just 30 days. That's an average of 1,667 words per day.
Writing Diary #1 – Plotting is hard
I have always struggled with plotting my stories. I think most writers out there have loads of unfinished stories, but these stories remain unfinished for different reasons. I often abandon my stories because I struggle with making the plot seem realistic and logical. Lately, with my stories, I have noticed that I try to put … Continue reading Writing Diary #1 – Plotting is hard
Writing Update and Camp NaNoWriMo
Writing, for me, comes and goes in waves, but recently I have been getting back into my personal writing. I say 'personal' because I have to do a bit of writing for school and I feel like it doesn't really count. I have already worked on two different stories this year - unfinished, obviously - and I have liked setting aside about an hour each night to spend writing. Granted, I do not do this every night, but it has been therapeutic and good to put my writing into practice.Â
March Bullet Journal Set-Up
Having a bullet journal can keep track of so many aspects of your life. I thought I would only be using it for the basics, but I have since started tracking my habits, expenses, writing, reading, and studying. Because I like how my March spread turned out, I thought I would make a blog post about it, as it does include my blog's two main interests: reading and writing.
