I'm participating in NaNoWriMo this month and have realised that I get distracted VERY EASILY! I'm a mixture of a procrastinator and a lazy person, and this does not result in a very high word count. It results in a jumbled mess of words.

NaNoWriMo Week 1
NaNoWriMo week 1 is over! I hope all the writers reading this were able to write what they intended on. In this post I'm going to share with you my stats so far for NaNoWriMo and some things I learned after writing non-stop for one week.
(Almost) Time for NaNoWriMo!
In November it is NaNoWriMo! I am going to be participating for the first time and I'm really excited. I'm almost finished university (and graduate in December!) and have most of November to WRITE! Well, I start a new job in the last week, but I still have heaps of time. Luckily my last assignment for uni is due on 31 October, so this is perfect timing!
Writing Progress – Writing Short Stories

My Melbourne Writers Festival Experience

BookTube-A-Thon
Last week I half-arsed participated in the BookTube-A-Thon! I know I just did a reading challenge, but I saw that so many people were participating, and it made me want to join in.
More Than Books (TV & Film) – July
I watched a lot of great film and television in July. For eight days I went on a cruise and watched around five films while on the boat, so a lot of them were watched then. Otherwise, everything else was just viewed in my spare time.
New Caledonia Cruise Travel Diary: 2-10 July 2017
Recently I went on a cruise to New Caledonia from Sydney. My mum and I went with P&O cruises on the Pacific Explorer. New Caledonia is a group of islands in the pacific ocean that is part of the French Republic and we went to Noumea, Mare and Island of Pines. It was pretty fun and relaxing, so here are a few photos from the trip.
Writing Progress – June
In June I decided to do a lot of writing. I found a story I wrote almost two years ago and even though the writing was very bad, I thought the idea was still okay. So I re-wrote what I had written and continued on with the story.
