I recently went through all of my unpublished drafts. Most were unpublishable, and some were just so old that they're now irrelevant. I found this one from 2018 and thought it was still relevant and interesting. I wrote it when I was writing a thesis closely related to feminism and wanted some feminist reads, so … Continue reading Feminist Books On My TBR
The past two years on my blog I have posted whatever the heck I want, albeit very infrequently. Recently I have been reading a few of my old blog posts, and I am amazed at how my mindset has changed (plus my writing style, but let's not worry about that). I had so much more … Continue reading Why I Stopped Blogging About Books
I'll be honest, I have not enjoyed reading as much as I used to. I cannot remember how I consistently wrote blog posts about books, and especially how I reviewed them. That said, I have really liked most of the books I have read this year. So I am going to do a few mini … Continue reading A Post About Books
For Halloween this month, I have decided to read a horror book. I honestly know nothing about this genre of books because the only horror books I've read are Misery by Stephen King and a few Goosebumps books. I want some really terrifying books to read, so I compiled a list of five books that I would really like to read. I also have chosen one that I am definitely going to read by the 31st of October.
The other day I randomly had the idea to create a book quiz, so I did! I decided to base the quiz on YA books because I know the genre pretty well. Each of the quotes are divided into categories, such as YA romance. Check out the quiz here! The link is where you will find the answers, but here is a list of all the quotes and their possible books.
Do you ever watch a movie that you loved and wish that there was a book version of it?
There are so many movies that were firstly books, but there are also a lot of movies that were simply turned into movie because of an original screenplay. I've thought of eight movies I really enjoyed and after watching them wished that there was a book based on the story.
In November of 2017, I wrote a post that listed five books I thought would end up being five-star reads. The books I chose were Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur, Renegades by Marissa Meyer, Since You've Been Gone by Morgan Matson, The Comfort Zone by Sally Thorne and Into the Darkest Corner by Elizabeth Haynes. It took me a while - because I forgot about the books I chose - but I have finally read the books (except for one, which isn't my fault!).
Hello everyone ✨ Marija from Inside My Library Mind has created a series where each month she will go to another bloggers' 'read' shelf on goodreads and find five books that sound interesting. From my 'read' shelf, she chose five that she liked the sound of and out of those five, I have chosen one that … Continue reading Book Swap with Inside My Library Mind
Sometimes I really love the premise of a book and look forward to reading it, but sometimes the reviews start coming in and I feel discouraged about picking it up. This is what happened to most of the books on this list and it is unlikely that I will ever read them.
My physical TBR has always been quite small because I have never really had a giant budget for books. Since Christmas, my collection has definitely grown and has somehow amassed to ten books! These books I have listed below are the books I currently own and are on my TBR. They will definitely be my next reads, I'm just not certain about the exact order.
