My dog, Ned, passed away about two months ago. He was a beagle and was nine years old. I miss him so much! My family and I are considering getting another beagle, so I might have another pet soon. I don’t know if I will ever get a dog that’s not a beagle because I love them so much!

9) ANY TATTOOS OR PIERCINGS?

I only have my ears pierced. I would consider getting a tattoo but at the moment, whenever I think about it, I can just imagine myself looking at it and immediately regretting it haha.

10 WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT YOURSELF?

I like that I have empathy towards others.

11) WHAT DO YOU DISLIKE ABOUT YOURSELF?

I don’t like my weight at the moment because in the last year I have put on a few kilograms.

I think it was yesterday when someone called me and asked a few questions about something I can’t remember. When they found out I was 21 and still lived at home they were like, ‘Okay, never mind, bye!’

My last text message is from my mum and it says: ‘Nah google jap maples.’ She was explaining what trees she was going to plant in our front garden and I didn’t know what a Japanese Maple tree was.

The last email I sent was me sending my short story I had written to my tutor for a creative writing class I am doing.

I listened to ‘Amish Paradise’ by Weird Al Yankovich because I wanted to show my brother that I knew all the words to the song.

The last blog post I read was also a 100 truths tag by Laura @BookCorps, which was what inspired me to write this post!

My brother.

23) THE LAST PLACE YOU VISITED:

The last holiday I went on was to Mulwala, which is a little town on the border of New South Wales and Victoria. I am going to Queensland in about two weeks though!

24) YOUR LAST HOLIDAY ABROAD:

At the start of 2017 I went to the USA with some family. We stayed in Florida. The best part about the trip was going to Universal Studios, and the worst part was the flights there because we missed our LA to Florida flight, which prolonged our journey like a million hours.

YOUR BELIEFS AND OPINIONS

49) DO YOU BELIEVE IN ALIENS?

Yes, I believe in aliens. I don’t just BELIEVE, I KNOW they are out there.

50) DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES?

What even is a miracle? No, I don’t believe in them.

51) DO YOU BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING?

Lately I would say that I do. Because I have anxiety, I used to always think negatively. But I have learned over time that I should not listen to my anxiety and instead think positively because it helps get rid of some of the anxiety. Sometimes it is hard to think positively, but I do whenever I can because it improves my outlook on life and also just my day in general.

52) DO YOU BELIEVE IN LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT?

I think I do… Maybe I just want to believe in it because I want it to happen to me 😉

53) CAN MONEY MAKE YOU HAPPY?

YES. I disagree with people who say that money won’t make you happy. That is true to an extent but money is very important in life and everyone needs it. I think about times when I have gotten paid and if I hadn’t have gotten paid, I wouldn’t have been able to buy anything. No one is happy without their basic necessities, such as food. Even if you couldn’t afford the internet, that would make your life less enjoyable.

54) WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELF AS A FEMINIST?

Yep!

55) ARE YOU PRO-LIFE OR PRO-CHOICE?

I am pro-choice 🙂

56) DO YOU HAVE STRONG POLITICAL BELIEFS?

Yes. I am left-wing and am passionate about improving society. In Australia I prefer the Greens party but they never get elected, so between Labor and Liberal, I am Labor. If you don’t know, Liberal is currently in power and this angers me. Scott Morrison became Prime Minister just a few weeks ago and I think he has annoying voice (plus I don’t like him for many other reasons lol).

57) DO YOU HAVE STRONG RELIGIOUS BELIEFS?

No because I am an atheist.

58) WHAT DO YOU THINK THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN GIVE A CHILD IS?

It is important to give your child love rather than discipline.

No but I am thinking about making dinner because I am hungry.

I am watching the television and because I haven’t changed the channel since the other show I was watching, I am now watching a show called The Living Room.

I’m thinking about how there is little to choose from on free-to-air Australian television. I tried looking for something better but I can either go with sport or Everybody Loves Raymond.

I am excited about getting a dog 🙂

When I am catching public transport and the people getting on don’t let the people getting off first!

My first two best friends were Rose and Chloe.

My first job was when I was 15 at Red Rooster. It is an Australian fast-food restaurant that sells roasted chicken, among other things. I absolutely hated this job.

75) YOUR FIRST CHILDHOOD MEMORY:

I’m not sure, maybe when I started going to prep? I have the worst memory.

That’s SO hard lol. I guess love…

Twitter! Facebook is so annoying – I hate it!

I prefer the taste of tea.

I don’t drink either but I’d choose wine because beer is gross.

I love both. Maybe savoury because I can only take a little bit of sweet food.

I’m an introvert.

Vampires. I like how this is still a question on tags!

85) SEASIDE OR COUNTRYSIDE?

I like the seaside because I don’t vibe well the countryside. I like the idea of living near a beach, and I’m actually thinking about moving to the seaside at the moment! My mum wants to move to Queensland because the weather is warmer and it’s better for her heath and I’ll probably go as well (I live in Victoria currently).

86) SUMMER OR WINTER?

SUMMER! I love warm weather because it makes me a happier person!

87) BOOKS OR MOVIES?

Books! I do love movies too though.

88) HORROR OR COMEDY

Comedy. Horror terrifies me and I haven’t actually watched many horror films.

89) DO YOU WISH YOU COULD CHANGE YOUR PAST?

Yes.

90) WHAT’S YOUR DREAM JOB?

Working as a part-time copyeditor whilst having written several bestselling books.

91) WHAT’S YOUR GUILTY PLEASURE?

CHIPS! Also known as french fries!

92) WHAT ARE YOU AFRAID OF?

I am very afraid of heights. I would never go sky-diving. I am also wary of flying and my worst nightmare is crashing while in an airplane. I’m not a fan of rollercoasters and whenever I went on camp in primary school, there was usually one activity I cried over because I was scared to go on it (like rock-climbing).

93) WHAT WAS THE FIRST THING YOU WANTED TO BE WHEN YOU GREW UP?

When I was about six or seven, I wanted to be midwife because my mum said that’s what I should be. I thought this for a few months until I actually found out what a midwife is and then I was like HELL NO.

94) IF YOU COULD HAVE ANY SUPER POWER, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

I would like to freeze time. You could get so much stuff done! Imagine if you had an assignment – you could chill for the whole day and then freeze time to get it done.

95) IF YOU COULD CHANGE ANYTHING ABOUT YOUR LIFE WHAT WOULD IT BE?

I would like to be an extrovert and be more outgoing.

96) WOULD YOU WANT IMMORTALITY?

No… If I somehow became immortal, there would always be the question looming over my head about what happens when you die.

97) IF YOU COULD INTERVIEW ANYONE ALIVE OR DEAD WHO WOULD YOU CHOOSE?

I would want to interview Sylvia Plath because I read her book recently and her life is really interesting.

98) WOULD YOU SAY YOU ARE HAPPY?

I am not completely happy but I’m also not sad or depressed.

99) WHAT ONE PIECE OF ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO YOURSELF AT AGE EIGHTEEN?

Can you try harder, bitch.

100) WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE IN FIVE YEARS’ TIME?

I would like to be living in a house with someone I love and working in a great job.

I have a creative writing intensive soon that goes for eight hours per day for four days, and then after that I’m going to Queensland. I may not post again until October, but I do have a review of What If It’s Us that I need to post.
