So three lovely blogs have (recently and not-so-recently) nominated me to receive The Sunshine Award! Thank you so much Dawlyn and Krista @ Little Blind Book Finds, Ellyn @ Allonsythornaxx, and Rain @ The Withering for thinking of me! I love reading all of their blogs.

Also, just for two weeks I’ll only be posting about once a week because I need to write three essays before my uni semester ends on 30 October. Next week is my NaNoWriMo post, yay!

Dawlyn and Krista’s Questions

What’s the most unique/original book you’ve ever read?

I think Room by Emma Donahue was very original because it was told in the perspective of a five-year-old.

What is your favourite post you’ve ever written on your blog?

I enjoyed writing “Is Writing Books Reviews Worth It?“.

What stand alone would you be happy to read a sequel of?

I’d really love to read a sequel of I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson! I love that book!

What book character do you relate to the most?

I really related to Bella Swan when I read Twilight. Recently, I cannot think of anything.

What book would you want to see an adaptation of?

I’d love an adaptation of Behind Closed Doors by B. A. Paris.

If you were to write a book, what genre would it be?

It would be contemporary because I really like writing in that genre.

If you could ask your favourite author one question, what would it be?

I would ask Colleen Hoover: “How do you think of your plot twists?”

What’s your dream job?

My dream job is being an editor for a publishing company.

Where is your favourite place to read?

I really like reading outside in the sun when it’s hot. There’s no room to do that at my house, so I don’t get the opportunity often.

What’s a not so popular book that you think deserves more love?

Ellyn’s Questions

What was the last blog post you read?

It was “Mini Reviews: The Sci-Fi Edition” by Written Word Worlds. I feel weird linking it though lol.

Do you borrow from the library?

Not very often…I’ve only done it once this year.

Do you own/ use a Kindle?

I used to own a Kindle but it broke. My mum has one too, so sometimes I use hers.

How do you feel about subscription boxes?

I would love to have a subscription box but I think that they are too expensive! Once I looked at how much it would cost for where I live (Australia), so on top of the actual price for the box (like around $30 or something), it would cost an extra $25 for shipping!

What tv show/s are you currently watching?

Um…I’m too ashamed to admit it. But asides from that one, I’m only currently watching South Park and The Last Man On Earth when they air.

Your favourite beverage?

My go-to fizzy drink is lemonade.

What are you/ do you want to study in University/ College?

I graduate from Professional Writing and Editing at Swinburne in two weeks. At the moment I’m applying to Honours and Masters courses.

Recommend a good middle-grade read!

Pretty much anything by Emily Rhodda is good. You should probably start with Deltora Quest.

What blog post did you last write/ what are you currently writing?

The last post I wrote was my readathonbyzoe results, and – besides this one – I’m currently writing my NaNoWriMo blog post.

What is your favourite colour?

Blue or pink, I can’t choose.

What are your feelings on cooking?

I really enjoy cooking. I cook dinner almost every night.

Rain’s Questions

What fascinates you the most about the dark?

Hmm, interesting question, Rain! Let’s just ignore the fact that I get spooked by my own shadow and say that not having control of your surroundings is fascinating!

Who inspires your inner serial-killer?

My brother! He’s a fucking asshole. But then the next day after I think this, I forget, and I’m nice to him.

What if stars were listening to ALL THAT YOU HAVE TO SAY? What will you tell them?

I’d ask them if aliens exist and plead with them for an alien to come to earth and tell us all their secrets.

You know that feeling you get like THE WHOLE WORLD IS YOUR OYSTER? Yeah, when did you last felt that way?

It was definitely when I had a job interview a few weeks ago and the lady pretty much gave me the job on the spot! Then I convinced my brother to celebrate with me by getting burgers, and it was a really nice day, and I felt really good! I don’t start the job until the end of November, but I’m pretty excited.

Dragons are the most majestic creatures that ever crawled on earth (YEAH, I AM ASSUMING THEY ARE REAL. DEAL WITH IT). What if you had one? Who would you incinerate?

If I had a dragon, I’d probably be like, “Where on earth am I going to put it???”. Once I figure that out, I’d go incinerate Donald Trump, Kim Jong Un, Vladimir Putin, and Tony Abbott! (Jk I’d never do that.)

Are you afraid of falling in love? (I NOW I AM!! ;P)

I’m not really afraid of it, it more so excites me!
