Top 5 Wednesday: Fictional Jobs You’d Want to Have

Hey everyone!

Top 5 Wednesday has come around once again! The topic this week is fictional jobs you’d want to have. As I struggled to think of jobs just within books I have read, I also included some from games, movies, and TV shows.

1. A Witch from Harry Potter by J. K. Rowling

It has been a few years since I read this series (8 to be exact), so I have forgotten the names of some of the specific jobs that wizards had. I think being a witch (or wizard) in general would be really cool, and I would just find any witch-related job there was.

2. Author (Writing Career) from The Sims

Isn’t it really unfair that in the Sims you can be part of any career you want without having any qualifications or experience? And get a promotion after a few days of work? If only real life was like this.

3. Prison Guard from Orange is the New Black

Although a lot of shit goes down at Litchfield, the women there are really cool and mostly friendly. At this particular prison, I think it would be enjoyable working as a prison guard and rewarding in a sense.

4. Mary Poppins from Mary Poppins

Being a nanny for young kids is already a job I wouldn’t mind having. Mary Poppin’s job also includes magic and flying with an umbrella, which I think would be rather fun. If you can entertain kids by transporting them into a chalk world, I think it would make the job much easier.

5. Fairy Godmother from Cinderella

This job basically involves watching over someone and around once a year helping them out in some way. Seems pretty easy to me!
